I know it’s
really easy to compare two different things, in this case a a Finnish
Parliament Republic and a Mexican Democratic Republic. I want to talk about the
difference in order to understand if the Finnish are doing the things right or
we Mexicans are committing any mistake.

First of
all, we can star by some history, even though both government systems are
different, the Finnish system became
operational and functional since 1906, fur year before a Mexican Revolutionary
strike. By 1906, Finish society, the ones who’s could be consider for voting
were women and men 24 years old or older, since then, because of demographic changes
the minimum age was changes from 24 to 21, from 21 to 20 and from 20 to 18
nowadays.
In Finland,
the most important government figure is the Parliament (200 deputies), even
though there’s an executive power, a president, the parliament is the most
important division of power because it’s the base of all the Finnish power
decisions and distributions, so, because of this, population elect the members
of the Parliament.
Also, it’s important
to mention that, different as in Mexico, there are no majorities preferences of
the population for any political party, every Finnish party acquires not more
than 30% of population election, creating an electoral competition really tight
and competitive.
About the
mass media communication, the government or any political party can ask for
media support. The Mass media channel can make any kind f preferences on their
spaces and there are allowed t make public any preference of political choice,
so , as in Mexico, Finnish Mass Media are really important in elections, but
this opinions are truly mass media preferences, there are no budget expense on
purchasing TV , Radio or printed publicity spots.
Another huge
difference is that for the parliament make a decision about something, most f
the member has t be aligned with the decision, and Finnish Government cannot
take any action if just a minority group is supporting it. The main tool for convincing
the majority of the Parliament is through a pacific conciliation.
